I quote from the rules:

Trainer, die bereits eine Saison abgeschlossen haben, können aus allen freien Teams wählen und dürfen von da an auf jedem Kontinent ein Team betreuen.

This means that you have to finish one season with your team as a new Copa player first. Then you are able to get further teams on other continents.

The start of the new season will be delayed for one week, because there still have to be prepared some changes within the technical infrastructure. Therefore the date for the first game matches will be postponed until April 27 at 19 CET.

By the way, your team will automatically switch from Messina to Lazio Roma when the technical implementation of the new season takes place. This change was agreed upon before you took over the team, since the game community wanted to include a club that is presumably more attractive for new players. In any case, if you should not be pleased with having to deal with Lazio you are free to move to another team or country or continent after the start of the new campaign (every participant can change his team once a season).

Yes, there is a small (German) explanation when you enter your team Messina. It's stating that the club will be replaced by Lazio Roma at the end of the season (which will happen on Friday, when the new season starts).
